Home visiting for families with children prenatal - age 6. Resource for the families offering developmental screenings, info and activities to help parents encourage developmental growth; family events, book exchange, giveaways and much more, all free of charge.
Hours of Operation
One of the following must exist: live within USD 234 School District, referral by Department of Children and Families, child living with someone other than birth parent, existing IFSP with Birth to Three services or IEP in School services, State insurance/no insurance, English Second Language, parent education less than HS diploma, parent migrant worker, family had to sleep in temporary living arrangement in the last year, parent not married, income qualifier, family qualifies for free or reduced school lunches
Fort Scott Early Childhood Program also has a private Facebook page which features answers/options for challenges families are facing, activity ideas, Friday story time and program announcements. It's also a great forum for families to share ideas with other families in the program.
